Terms of Service

     This Terms of Service Agreement provides an overview of FCS operations and offerings, which include residential, commercial, and hoarding cleaning services. The Service Agreement aims to define FCS’s responsibilities and professional obligations to our clients by describing our guarantees and limits.

 

     Therefore, by scheduling a service with our company, you have accepted and agreed to the following terms of the Service Agreement.

INSURANCES

     To better serve the safety of our clients, and FCS professional cleaning employees/contractors are covered with General Liability and Auto in the minimum value of USD $1,000,000.00 (one million dollars) each. This is in addition to being Bonded. This means that all our cleaning personal who work in our company are covered if they suffer any accident at work inside or outside residential or commercial environments.

PRIVACY

     One of the most important loyalty commitments that FCS Family Cleaning Solutions LLC has with its clients is the protection of the privacy of their information. Our company does not offer, exchange, distribute or sell any personal information of our clients to third parties.

TAX LIABILITIES

     FCS is staffed by team of professionals and FCS collects and declares all taxes as needed to the appropriate governing authorities.

 

IMPORTANCE OF APPOINTMENT AND FREQUENCY

     Our cleaning schedule varies from as-needed to weekly to biweekly to monthly. Before the first cleaning, it is essential that the client show the FCS representative the location and area to be cleaned and discuss their cleaning needs in person. Throughout this 15- to 30-minute conversation, we will be able to make observations and take notes for cleaning day. We assess the cleaning conditions of the residence, the cleaning time, the number of cleaning professionals and cleaning supplies to be used, the expense of the service, the days of the week and frequency, etc.

     If the client does not have time for an in-person appointment, the appointment can be made over the phone and all information will be collected. 

​

     If during the first cleaning, we analyze that the cleaning conditions of the house are not in accordance with what the client specified, the price of the service will be readjusted immediately before starting the work.

SCHEDULE: ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

     FCS Family Cleaning Solutions LLC is a company that does not work by the hour, but rather by service, that is, it doesn't matter how long we stay in your home, what matters to FCS is leaving our clients satisfied with our services.

 

     We always try to provide an estimated arrival and departure time for our clients at their homes, explaining details of our services and who are the professionals who should be there.

 

     We always provide clients with an estimated arrival window so they can be at home, ensuring that everyone will be present upon our arrival. However, we cannot guarantee that there will be no delays due to unforeseen circumstances, primarily involving traffic, weather, and the preceding appointment. We will always remain in contact with our clients to inform them of any impending delays.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

     If you need to make modifications to your cleaning schedule, such as rescheduling or canceling your cleaning, please let us know at least 24 to 48 hours in advance. This will enable us to locate another client to replace them, and our staff will be able to maintain their daily income.

     We are flexible and offer our clients a relocation service for other days and times of the week with more efficiency and practicality for both.

RESIDENTIAL CLEANING & COMMERCIAL CLEANING

     Often the client believes that hiring a cleaner can solve many other problems outside of "normal" cleaning inside their home, but the answer may be NO. The cleaner does not have responsibilities for many things and is not trained to tackle all cleaning issues

BIOLOGICAL HAZARDS, PET AND HUMAN FECES AND URINE

     One of our priorities is the health and safety of our FCS crew and our clients. During normal Regular Cleanings and Deep Cleanings FCS crews will NOT:

 

  • Clean in and around pet litter boxes.

    • We do not offer this type cleaning service. We can collect and/or clean any feces or urine that may have been in our path during cleansing. Due to the high cost of equipment maintenance, we will not use our vacuum cleaner to clean loose litter. If the client provides a vacuum for the area, it will be used to remove litter debris from outside the box.

  • The cleaning of human urine and feces and other bodily fluids will not be attempted by crews.

  • Stains on wooden floors can be disinfected by our professionals, but urine/feces and other bodily fluids can often penetrate the wood and only a professional flooring specialist can solve this issue.

  • Our crews will attempt to clean wall marks using our standard wiping protocols. Some types of marks on the walls can only be removed by a professional.

  • Large amounts of mold on walls and surfaces will not be attempted by the FCS crews.

  • Fireplaces and chimneys and removal of fireplace ash will not be handles by FCS.

  • FCS does not have the capability to provide carpet or furniture cleaning services other than vacuuming. 

  • Paint stains or removal of other material to floor surfaces will not be attempted.

  • Washing or cleaning of spotlights or chandeliers’ will not be attempted.

  • FCS crews will not try to clean places that require a ladder above 3 steps.

  • FCS crews will not clean dishes, laundry, outside of windows or air ducts.

DEALING WITH PESTS

​

     FCS will not attempt to clean areas infested with ants, bed bugs, bees or wasps, cockroaches, mosquitos, rats, spiders, tick and fleas or other pest infestation found while performing their services. The client will be notified so they may attend to the infestation.

EXTREMER CLEANING | HOARDING & CLUTTER CLEANING

     This type of service can generally last between 2-5 days depending on each hoarder's soiling situation. It is not an easy service to perform, it demands a lot from the professional and affects their psychology a lot, as the situation the client finds themselves in is very complicated. We use our specialized services and our trained professionals to work with specific hygiene and disinfection materials. And one type of work requires a larger team and requires many hours of work, sometimes even days. This needs to be scheduled in advance.

 

     The FCS crew who works with cleaning hoarders is exposed to several risks and challenges during their work, and some of them are here:

 

  • Have direct contact and remove objects with feces and urine from pets and humans;

  • Remove spoiled and expired food;

  • Work with hazardous conditions;

  • Work with pest infestation conditions;

  • Disinfection and sanitize areas;

  • Collect large amounts of waste and recycling around the house;

  • Work with highly differentiated supplies and strong substances;

  • Wash and scrub walls and floors;

  • Collect dead pest infestations;

  • Clean places that have mold and bad smells, etc.

 SAFETY & CLEANING SUPPLIES

     One of our goals in our first appointment is finding what cleaning supplies we can use in your home, as in some cases, some customers are allergic to some products. We take great care of the well-being of each of you.

 

     Since we know what we can use at each cleaning location, each of our professionals carries their cleaning supplies in separate  bags. This provides greater utility and convenience for all of our workers.

 

     Always thinking about the safety of our FCS crew, we have created a Work Safety Plan (WSP) which everyone follows to avoid accidents during work. Here is a partial list of what the FCS crew follows:

 

  • Do not climb ladders with more than 3 steps to remove dust from shelves or tall cabinets.

  • Only remove dust from wall-mounted pictures, mirrors, and other decorations; they must not fall or jiggle when dusted.

  • Items that are not fixed permanently and/or with adhesive tapes tend to break very easily and FCS does not assume the responsibility for the breakage.

  • Plumbing problems such as a clogged or overflowing toilet or sink, a dripping tap, FCS is not responsible for solving the problem. The best solution is to call a specialized professional.

  • At no time do we offer laundry or dishwashing services to our customers. FCS Cleaning Solutions LLC is a company that offers house cleaning services, not maid services. We do not offer window washing outside houses, you will need to look for a professional for this type of service.

  • We are not responsible for crystal glasses and fragile objects that are on the kitchen counter when we are cleaning. Removing objects to leave the counter free of clutter for cleaning is the customer's sole responsibility.

 

     The bathroom is one of the most dangerous areas in the house because of the high risk of infection. Therefore, we ask our clients to keep all glass and sharp objects to avoid any accidents with our professionals. We are not responsible if any object is broken during cleaning or placed in another location for the safety of our professionals.

INSPECTIONS IN COMMERCIAL ENVIRONMENTS

     Before and after services such as Move Out/In and Extreme Cleaning are carried out | Hoarding & Clutter FCS Family Cleaning Solutions LLC performs inspections of each job including notes and before and after photos.

 

     After our professional team leaves your home, we carry out a more rigorous and detailed Commercial Environment Inspection, this is to guarantee and maintain the quality of our services for clients.
